However, guests have repeatedly distinguished enjoying the shoreline from swimming there. The room category also matters: a Royal Two-Bedroom Suite offers a different stay from a Premium Bungalow.
An attractive beach is not the same as an easy swim
Mobinul’s three-night April 2026 bungalow stay praised cleanliness, views and particularly helpful service from Mint. He found the beach attractive to look at but unsuitable for the swimming he wanted, and considered the gym’s equipment limited.
YOSUKE’s August 2024 family visit similarly mentioned rocks affecting swimming, although the family enjoyed kayaking. These are practical guest experiences to weigh alongside the supplied shoreline photograph, rather than a guarantee about sea conditions or current equipment hire.
Match the suite to the group
Nuntiga’s April 2025 Royal Two-Bedroom Suite stay valued generous space, strong shower pressure and a large Jacuzzi. Those features belong to the reviewed suite, not every bungalow or family room.
A separate photograph shows garden seating beside the shared pool. The resort also lists a children’s pool, but parents should still establish their accommodation’s position and supervise access rather than assume a family category resolves every pool-side consideration.
A base outside the busiest stretch
The location near Wat Sila Ngu and the Hin Ta and Hin Yai area differs from staying in the middle of Lamai’s evening activity. Check the room, meal inclusions and intended journeys together. For travellers happy to make those journeys, the pool may be more important than direct sea swimming.
