SALA Samui Choengmon Beach Resort is worth considering for a Samui stay that combines a beach setting with the option of a private-pool villa. The category matters: the resort’s official factsheet lists private pools in 53 of its 69 villas and suites, rather than in every accommodation.
A villa photograph is not the whole room catalogue
The supplied photographs show a shared swimming pool beside Thai-style buildings and a bedroom with a four-poster bed and white drapes. They convey the resort’s architecture and room atmosphere, but do not establish that the pictured bedroom is the category you will receive.
The official SALA Pool Villa specification lists 106 square metres including its outdoor space. Compare the full category description, pool provision and sleeping arrangement when choosing between it and accommodation without a private pool. The total area is not all enclosed bedroom space.
Recent visitors put service alongside the setting
A Trip.com guest posting on 16 August 2026 praised the comfort and character of a pool villa, the beach and the peaceful adults-only pool. Their account particularly valued personal attention from reception and restaurant staff.
Natalya05’s July 2026 review also highlighted clean rooms, breakfast and attentive service. These are useful individual accounts of the stay, while breakfast inclusion and any other benefits still depend on the rate selected. An adults-only pool does not make the entire resort adults-only.
Make sure the booking says Choengmon
SALA’s Chaweng property is a separate hotel. Match the Choengmon name, room category and location throughout the booking, especially when comparing photographs or guest experiences across the two resorts.
